When planting smaller seeds, materials such as paper towels, cotton pads, hydroponic mats, or coco coir mats can be used to anchor the seeds. Their tops feature a flared shape; as long as the planter does not sink all the way to the bottom of the jar, it will function correctly. I designed these dimensions to ensure compatibility with the majority of glass jars. Some planters will rest on the rim of the jar opening, while others will slide slightly down into the jar
